Montreal, February 5, 2012 --- A Black health care professional has been awarded $23,000 by the Quebec Human Rights and Youth Rights Commission as a result of a racial profiling incident in a Montreal metro station in February 2010.

Montreal, January 20, 2012 --- The Police Ethics Committee has reversed the Police Ethics Commissioner's decision to dismiss a Laval Black lawyer's complaint against two police officers for racial profiling, and ordered the Commissioner to cite the officers before it for race-based misconduct and unjustified interception of the man.
