CRARR WINS QUEBEC GOVERNMENT’S ANTIRACISM AWARD

On May 5, 2008, CRARR was awarded the Quebec Government’s antiracism award called the Anne-Greenup Award, for its work as a “bridge between law and justice, institutions and citizens.” CRARR’s Counsellor, Aymar Missakila, receives the award from Immigration and Cultural Communities Minister Yolande James in the Red Chamber of the Quebec National Assembly. It is the first time in CRARR’s 25-year history that it won a formal government award for its civil rights work.
