TWO BLACK CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS WON MAJOR BATTLE AGAINST JOB RACISM


Montreal, February 26, 2010 --- The first Black History Month of the decade is ending with a major victory for two Black prison guards who finally won their fight against racism in employment in a provincial jail.

The two African-born men, who are assisted by CRARR, waged a five-year battle against the Ministry of Public Safety of Quebec.
