HATE CRIME: CRARR ASSISTS A MUSLIM MOTHER WHO WAS INSULTED AND ASSAULTED TO BRING HER AGGRESSOR TO JUSTICE

August 7, 2008 --- CRARR filed a civil rights complaint against a woman who assaulted and insulted a Muslim mother in front of her three young children in the north-east part of the city. In the complaint, CRARR is claiming damages in the amount of $25,000 for moral damages and $10,000 for punitive damages in order to compensate the victims for the hate-motivated assault and for sexist, islamaphobic and xenophobic insults.
