ROUND-TABLE DISCUSSION ON THE INTERNATIONAL LABOR ORGANIZATION'S CONVENTION ON DOMESTIC WORKERS

CRARR will host a day-long round-table discussion on issues identified in the International Labor Organization's Convention on the Work of Domestic Workers, on March 9, 2012, from 9:00 to 5:00 pm.

The event will bring together stakeholders in immigration, labor standards, workplace safety, civil rights, housing and law enforcement to examine issues related to the protection of domestic workers from discrimination, exploitation and human trafficking. The Convention was adopted in Geneva this past Summer and now awaits ratification by Canada.
